What makes LivFit different

Built for households. Constrained by design.

Most nutrition apps are single-user trackers with AI bolted on. LivFit is the opposite: a whole-household platform where the AI is a careful interpreter, not a creative author.

Most apps

Built for one user. Spouse, kids, training partner — each needs their own subscription, their own log, their own data island.

LivFit
One plan covers your whole household.

Profiles for everyone in your home, included. Different goals, different rules, one place to look. Children are never optimized for calories or macros — only patterns are visible to parents.

Most apps

Ask the chatbot for macros and it generates a plausible-sounding number. Sometimes correct. Often not. No way to tell which.

LivFit
AI explains. It never invents nutrition data.

Macros come from USDA, branded-food databases, and your own kitchen — never from an LLM guess. The AI explains what's there in plain language, and refuses to fill gaps with fiction.

Most apps

Streaks. Daily reminders. Optimization-or-shame loops. The product wants you back every day, whether you need it or not.

LivFit
Quiet by default. No streaks, no nags.

When nothing needs your attention, the app says nothing at all. Open it when you have a question; close it when you don't. No push, no streak, no pressure.

Most apps

Free to start. $15+/month for AI features. $20+/month for family sharing. Most useful capability is always one tier up.

LivFit
One price. No premium AI tier.

$12/month. The whole product, family included. No premium, no upsell, no feature locked behind a higher plan. Cancel in one tap.

Our guiding principles

The rules we built it on.

These aren't features. They're rules we won't break — even when growth would be easier without them.

🏠

Trust the family, not the app.

This app is a tool, not an authority. Your family knows what works best for you. We provide information and gentle guidance — you make the decisions.

🤝

Growth, lived together.

Whether with family, friends, or a small group — shared habits build stronger bonds. We celebrate every step forward, together.

🍽️

Enjoy what you love.

Food is connection, celebration, and comfort. We honor all the reasons we eat. Discipline and enjoyment aren't opposites — they coexist.

Stronger in every way.

Goals aren't just physical — they're emotional, spiritual, and relational. We grow closer to the people we love while becoming our best selves.

How it works

Three steps. Then it stays out of your way.

Set up the household, fill the kitchen, live the week. The whole thing is designed for the long, ordinary middle — not the goal-setting moment.

Step 01

Set up your household.

Add everyone who eats at your table — adults and kids. Each member gets a profile with the right targets and the right rules. R-03 is enforced from this moment forward: no calorie or macro targets are ever shown for or generated about children.

Step 02

Fill your kitchen.

Scan a grocery receipt — photo or PDF — and Gemini extracts every item in seconds. Pick which ones you actually cook with; those become your pantry. Macros, Food Compass grade, and serving size land already filled in.

Step 03

Live the week.

Log meals, scan packages, hit Apple Watch sessions. Ask anything in plain language — the answer comes from your own kitchen and the household's actual data. Quiet on days you don't need help. Honest on days you do.

Built for households

Made for the way you actually feed people.

Three kinds of household use LivFit most. We design for all three — and we design for the long, ordinary middle of the week, not the goal-setting moment. If you're a single user optimizing your own macros, this isn't the right tool for you.

Weeknight Parent
Most common

You feed a household on weeknights. You want to know dinner is good enough — without thinking about it for the next forty-five minutes. The questions you actually ask are about the kids, not your own macros.

Did we eat well today? Yes? Then I'm done.

The Coordinator
Multi-member household

Partner. Kids of different ages. Maybe aging parents. Different needs at every meal — one person training hard, one with allergies, one who only eats four foods this month. You hold the whole system together, mostly in your head.

What works for everyone tonight?

Recovering Tracker
Welcome back, gently

You've tracked before. The numbers got loud, then they got mean. You want help — but only the kind that knows when to be quiet, and only the kind that trusts you to know your own family. No streaks. No optimization-or-shame.

Can I trust myself again?

Trust & data architecture

Trust isn't a feature.
It's the architecture.

Most apps treat AI as a creative author. We treat it as a careful interpreter of real food data — and we never let it invent macros, calories, or nutrition facts. If we can't ground an answer, we say so.

These five rules are non-negotiable. They're the contract between LivFit and your household. We'd rather lose you than break it.

R-01
Your data stays yours.

We never sell your data. We never use it to train ads. You can delete any meal, any household member, or your entire account at any time, and we mean it — the data is gone, not soft-deleted. Everything is encrypted at rest, and every access is logged.

R-02
AI explains. It never invents nutrition data.

Calories, protein, fat, and other macros come from established food databases — the USDA's public data, branded-product databases, and your own kitchen. The AI's job is to read and explain what's there in plain language, not to make up numbers when it doesn't know. If we can't ground an answer in real data, we tell you, and we narrow the answer rather than guess.

R-03
Children are not optimized.

Calorie and macro targets are never shown to anyone under 18, and the AI is not allowed to generate them for kids either. Parents see patterns and explanations only. This isn't a setting that can be toggled off — it's enforced deep in the system, not just hidden in the interface.

R-04
You approve every save.

The AI can read a receipt, scan a food label, or draft a meal log — but nothing reaches your record until you tap confirm. You always get to see what the AI thinks it found, edit it, and decide whether to keep it. This rule is enforced on our servers, not just in the app, so it can't be bypassed.

R-05
Sensitive topics route to a human.

Questions touching eating disorders, prescription medications for kids, or mental-health concerns get one response: a gentle note suggesting you talk to a clinician. The AI declines to advise on these, every single time. There is no growth metric we'd trade this for.
