A calm intelligence for the way you actually feed people.

Reach your goals while loving the life you're living.

“Did the kids get enough protein today?”
Both kids hit their targets at lunch — Anna at 28g, Sam at 24g. Dinner doesn't need to be high-protein. Something they'll enjoy is fine.

Planned treat: Friday's birthday dinner. We've got room for it — and we'll celebrate it.

Our guiding principles

The rules we built it on.

These aren't features. They're rules we won't break — even when growth would be easier without them.

🏠

Trust the family, not the app.

This app is a tool, not an authority. Your family knows what works best for you. We provide information and gentle guidance — you make the decisions.

🤝

Growth, lived together.

Whether with family, friends, or a small group — shared habits build stronger bonds. We celebrate every step forward, together.

🍽️

Enjoy what you love.

Food is connection, celebration, and comfort. We honor all the reasons we eat. Discipline and enjoyment aren't opposites — they coexist.

Stronger in every way.

Goals aren't just physical — they're emotional, spiritual, and relational. We grow closer to the people we love while becoming our best selves.

How it works

It explains like a person would.

You ask a question — about a kid, a meal, a whole week — and we answer in the same language a thoughtful friend would. Not a chart. Not a grade. A sentence.

Today — what's actually in front of you.

Today's progress, today's plan, today's quiet check-in. Open the app, see what matters, close the app. When nothing needs your attention, we say nothing at all.

Tonight's planPasta with sausage

Plan is where it starts.

Pantry, dining out, recipes, the week's plan — meals are the surface where LivFit does its best work. Strength is here too: Apple Watch sessions land in the app, and your personal records have a home. More on the training side comes with time.

With room for celebration.

Meals, recipes, imports, receipts — grounded in what's actually in your kitchen, what you've eaten, and what worked last time. Plus planned treats: birthdays, Friday pizza, the dinner out you've been looking forward to. We make room for joy.

Built for households

Made for the way you actually feed people.

Four kinds of household use LivFit most. We design for all of them — and we design for the long, ordinary middle of the week, not the goal-setting moment.

Weeknight Parent
Most common

You're feeding a household on weeknights. You want to know dinner is good enough — without thinking about it for the next forty-five minutes.

Did we eat well today? Yes? Then I'm done.

Athlete-Oriented Parent
Training-focused

Training hard, or supporting a kid in sports. Watching protein, recovery, and strength PRs. The goal is fuel and performance — meals that support training, sessions logged, records kept.

Did I get enough protein for today's training?

Coordinator
Multi-member household

Partner. Kids. Maybe aging parents. Different needs at every meal. You're holding the whole system together, mostly in your head.

What works for everyone tonight?

Recovering Tracker
Welcome back, gently

You've tracked before. The numbers got loud, then they got mean. You want help — but only the kind that knows when to be quiet, and only the kind that trusts you to know your own family.

Can I trust myself again?

Trust & data architecture

Trust isn't a feature.
It's the architecture.

LivFit is built on a deterministic-first intelligence model: structured food data is the source of truth, and the AI is constrained to interpretation only. It never generates primary nutrition data.

If we can't ground an answer in real food data, we say so — and reduce the answer's scope rather than fill it with a guess. We'd rather lose you than break your trust.

R-01
Your data stays yours

Never sold. Never used for ads. Delete any meal, any household member, or your entire account at any time. Stored encrypted at rest. Access logged.

R-02
AI explains, never invents

All nutrition values are looked up via USDA or FDC, or extracted from packaged-food databases and your own kitchen. The LLM operates only on structured outputs — its inputs and outputs are versioned and auditable.

R-03
Children are not optimized

Calorie and macro targets are never displayed to or generated for users under 18. Parents see patterns and explanations only. Enforced at the model layer via validate_compliance(), not a UI flag that could be toggled off.

R-04
You approve every save

The AI may parse a receipt, scan a label, or draft a meal log — but nothing reaches your record until you tap confirm. The contract is enforced server-side via useAIDrafts(), not just in the UI.

R-05
Sensitive topics route to a human

Eating-disorder, child-prescription, and mental-health adjacent queries return one mode label: "Sensitive topic — please talk to a clinician." The AI declines, gracefully, every time. There is no growth metric we'd trade this for.
